Staffs League First Round

Congratulations to all the Walsall swimmers who represented
the club in the first round of the staffs league.
Walsall A took first place at Fenton with 215 points and Walsall B
took 3rd place at Tamworth with 140 points

Dove Valley Junior PH Trophy Gala

Congratulations to all the Junior 9-12 year Walsall swimmers who represented
the club on Saturday 24th February.Walsall were winners of the gala with 144 points following competition from Northwich,Lichfield and Dove Valley they were presented
with the Peter Haynes Trophy

Staffordshire Junior Invitation Gala

Congratulations to all the Walsall swimmers who were selected to represent
Staffordshire at Fenton Manor on Sunday 11th February.

Chelsea Craddock receiving her Senior County Badge from Staffordshire President Mrs. Eileen Salt, to mark her 12th selection for the County team. Chelsea is the youngest girl ever to achieve this award.

West Midland Swimming - Regional Training Camp

Well done to Chelsea and Rianne who have been selected to attend the
West Midland Swimming Regional Training Camps.
The camps, being held on 13^th January, 14^th & 15^th April 2007 give the
opportunity to train at high level alongside the most talented swimmers
aged 11, 12 & 13 in the West Midland Region (Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire & Herefordshire).
A total of twelve girls and twelve boys have been selected, based on their performance at the 2006 Midland Championships, and Walsall Swimming & Water Polo Club is proud that this talented pair have been included.

Brierley Hill Open

Well done to Matt Cope who achieved Top Boy of the meet and well done to Tom Steen who took second place.Well done to Rebecca Allmark who achieved
Top Girl of the Meet.
Well done to all the Walsall Swimmers who took part and achieved many great individual performances.

Stourbridge Crystal Open

Well done to all the Swimmers who took part in the recent
Crystal Open at Wolverhampton.
Walsall achieved top Club at the meet and were presented with a Trophy and Cheque

Staffordshire ASA County League 2006

On Saturday 25th November Walsall Swimming Club had two teams swimming in the Staffordshire ASA County League Premier Final and Consolation 2 Final.

The A team were swimming in the Premier Final at Fenton Manor pool against Brierley Hill, Chase, Phoenix Youth and Newcastle.

They won the Final with 192 points from second place Newcastle with 173 points.

The B Team were swimming in the Consolation 2 final at Cheslyn Hay pool against Bilston, Lichfield, Wombourne and Dove Valley, they achieved a creditable third place with 158 points.

This is a great achievement for all the Swimmers and they would like to take this opportunity to thank their Coaches Gwyn,Terry and Tatiana for all their
hardwork and dedication.
