Walsall junior men won the Midland District Waterpolo Championships 2009 beating Boldmere, Nottingham and Handsworth.

Walsall Youth team takes silver at the Midland Waterpolo Championships held at Walsall Gala pool beating teams from Coventry, Solihull and Grantham,
beaten only by Boldmere.
Well Done team.

Paragon 8 Walsall 4 (Friendly)
Walsall started the pre-season with a tough away game against Division One side Paragon. The Walsall team mixed with experience and youth went 3-0 down in the first quarter with a couple of sending outs. Walsall rallied in the second quarter with two goals and went into half time trailing two goals. The second half saw Walsall only manage to score a further two goals against a weaker Paragon side due to exclusions. Final score 8-4

Walsall’s Women Start the Year With a Win
Walsall 14 vs. Boldmere 12
Walsall’s women’s water polo team took on local rivals Boldmere with a mixed team of youth and experience, in a closely called match the first half Walsall creeped ahead by two or three goals, in the second half, the game came more to life when three of Walsall’s experienced players were sent out ,the game was left to the remaining six players to hold onto the win, the game was sealed in the last thirty seconds with a twenty yard shot and goal from experienced player Sarah Rrapaj .
